The Standard

A credential is only worth what you can check.

Most credentials ask for trust. A Signal is built to be checked.

How trust is earned

A seal anyone can check, that fails the instant it's altered.

Like a wax seal: visibly genuine, impossible to forge, broken if touched.

A signed seal: issued, then checked, then tamper-evident

GOS-signed with Ed25519. Public keys published; private keys never leave issuance.

1 · SEALED

Signed when issued

A unique digital signature, added at issuance.

2 · CHECKED

Anyone can confirm it

One link, no account, nothing to install.

3 · TAMPER-EVIDENT

Change one character, it fails

Faked by no one. Checkable by everyone.

Privacy by design

It proves the credential is real — and tells you nothing else.

Back from a check: valid or invalid, issued date, expiry. Nothing more.

No personal data, ever

Validity and dates only — nothing about the person.

Groups of five or more

Cohort numbers hidden below five, so no one's singled out.

Consent before identity

Employers see identity only when the learner agrees.

DPDP-aligned by design

Built to India's DPDP Act 2023, not bolted on.

From evidence to expiry

Earned on evidence. Carried by the learner. Checkable by anyone.

1

Issued on evidence

Only after assessed work clears a fixed checklist.

2

Carried by the learner

The holder owns it and decides who sees what.

3

Checkable by anyone

Public keys, no account, in seconds.

4

Expires & revocable

Readiness is a snapshot — revoke any time.

Eight clusters, one vocabulary

Every Signal speaks the same language.

Eight clusters, C1 to C8, read the same way by everyone.

C1Core Technical Foundations
C2Applied Problem Solving
C3Engineering Execution
C4System & Product Thinking
C5Communication & Collaboration
C6Domain Specialisation

Don't take our word for it

Check a real Signal yourself.

A fictional learner, a real seal. Watch it verify green, live.
